Full immersion · metal mesh · heavy body

Coarse grind, hot water, four-minute steep, gentle press. The metal mesh lets oils and very fine particles through — that's the source of the press's velvet body and slightly murky bottom. Best with darker, sweeter coffees that want to feel weighty.

CRAFT NOTE

Skim the foam and fines off the surface at 4 minutes before plunging — the cup gets dramatically cleaner.
